The New City School
The New City School has been in partnership with First Church for the last four years.  Founded more than 30 years ago as the Alpha School, The New City School moved from the suburbs into the urban area of Dayton. 

The New City School focuses on students with learning disabilities, namely dyslexia, ADD/ADHD.  With a full enrollment of 70 students and 16 staff, this school is known in the community as a center of excellence for children.

Mack Memorial Church of the Brethren is dedicated to continuing the work of Jesus.

Located for over fifty years on Salem Avenue, Mack Memorial is called to be the body of Christ in a multicultural, urban neighborhood, embracing diversity, celebrating God's transforming love, and working in hope for reconciliation and peace in our community and in our world.

Over the last two years we have worked in partnership with First Church to build community through fellowship meals, special worship services, books studies, and shared newsletters.
